                                      Hudson River pier Fishing

There are now lots of Striped Bass  all the local piers, being caught with Fresh Bunker & worms...  There are many Striped Bass being caught this past week that is is common place now!!  The Blues are also right behind the Bass, so pretty soon they will be just as pleniful!

There are now lots of Striped Bass  all the local piers, being caught with Sand/Blood worms and Bunker.

There are lots of  Striped Bass  & Blues at all the local piers, on Bunker and Sand/Blood worms.  Crabbing is also starting to pick up in the area.

There are some fluke near the V.Z.

Hudson River pier Fishing

There are some very small Stripe Bass  being caught with an occasional 18 to 24 inch.  All of this action has been on Bloodworms and Sandworms.  There has been some good perch to along the local piers

 

Outside The V.Z. Bridge

Flounder fishing is picking up at coney island flats and Roma Schole Lighthouse.  Boats are getting nice size fish ranging from 12 to 25 inches.  .  Bunker are showing up all over the bay with some Bass pushing them around.

                       The weather and water has been pretty cold since the cold spell that we have been going on!  everything has been the same for the most part.

                         Hudson River pier Fishing

 

Some Striped Bass,, most about 12 to 20 inches are taken Sand & Blood Worms with an
occasional Slot fish. White Perch & Tommy-Cod are being caught in the same area..

The park in Secaucus on the Hackensack River has been producing nice White Perch and the
occasional Striped Bass.

In the Shrewsbury River, Flounder are just starting but not good yet.

In the Sandy Hook area there has been halfway decent Striped Bass action. From a boat, look
for bird action and the Bass will be underneath.

When the weather stays warm for a few days, the Belmar area is Producing flounder with some
good results.
